SINGAPORE – Whether you’re a local, business traveller, or expatriate seeking a short-term stay in Singapore’s vibrant core, Quincy House Singapore by Far East Hospitality offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and culinary options. Our recent two-night stay in early October revealed why this new serviced residence nestled in the vibrant Holland Village enclave is set to become a top choice for discerning guests.

Exceptional first impressions

From the moment we arrived, Quincy House sets itself apart with its outstanding service. The amiable security guard directs you to parking, helpful cleaning staff guide you to the elevator, and the front desk personnel greet you warmly. Even the Marketing Communications Manager, Annabelle, took the time to introduce herself. The level of professionalism extends to the housekeeping staff. The personal touch is also evident when staff members greet you by name the following morning, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction.

The Deluxe Room: Compact comfort

Our stay in Quincy House’s Deluxe Room revealed a space ideal for solo business travellers and couples. At 247 sq ft, it’s cozy for two people. However, the space proves a tad tight when both parties need to set up our laptops for work. Quincy House anticipates this need by offering ample workspace alternatives. The reception area on level 2 and the poolside on level 7 provide tables and chairs that double as social and working areas, ensuring guests always have a comfortable spot to be productive. Problem solved. 

The room’s design cleverly maximises space efficiency. On-wall pockets and pegs offer storage for miscellaneous items, while dedicated hanging space accommodates jackets and tote bags. Under-bed compartments provide additional storage for socks, slippers, and even backpacks, ensuring a clutter-free environment.

While the Deluxe Room doesn’t include luxuries like a bathtub or balcony, it provides all the essentials a business or leisure traveller requires. An electric flask, microwave, clothes hanging area with ample hangers, ironing board, and mini refrigerator cover all the basics. The bathroom is equipped with Kevin Murphy toiletries, including shampoo, body foam, lotion, bar soap, as well as a dental kit, vanity kit, and shower cap.

The bathroom deserves special mention for its thoughtful features. A filtered water tap offers an eco-friendly option, while the rain shower and adjustable shower head provide a luxurious bathing experience. High-end Grohe and Villeroy & Boch fittings add a touch of elegance. The standout feature remains the built-in bidet with adjustable temperature and pressure controls, reminiscent of high-tech Japanese toilets.
